Who we are.

We are parents, teachers, coaches, alumni and community members who care about the mental health of our children and student athletes.

Did you know that nearly two-thirds (65%) of those born between 1997 and 2012, aka Generation Z, currently report having experienced (or experiencing still) persistent symptoms of depression, anxiety, and thoughts of suicide? Sadly, there is a strong, proven correlation between social media use and the above statistics. In fact, social media use actually triples the depression rates for teenagers, and the numbers for adolescent girls is nearly double what it is for adolescent boys. We are heartbroken by these figures, and are taking action.

On Friday, January 31, 2025, as part of the awareness project and fundraiser, the girls will be hosting a guest speaker night. Our keynote speakers will be none other than the San Francisco Giants Mental Health Team, including Logan Webb, Drew Robinson, and our very own Dr. Shana Alexander. The San Francisco Giants, Sacramento Kings, and Brandon Crawford himself, have donated autographed merchandise for auction. All auction items and ticket sale proceeds will go directly to the softball program.
